McCahon rocks

Behind the scenes

Oh yes he does.

I'd always thought that the soundtrack for Colin McCahon's Tomorrow will be the same but not as this is, if it had a soundtrack, would be something sparse and atmospheric – a few bare guitar chords by Brian Crook, perhaps, drifting out across Otago harbour as the sun goes down.

But here, coughed up by the Weird Coincidence Machine otherwise known as the internet, is something a little pacier by an Italian outfit called The Slash. Who they are and what they've heard about McCahon I don't know, but their song's called Tomorrow will be the same and that's (just) enough to earn them a (brief) listen from our in-house Colin McCahon trainspotters.
