This print depicts the oil painting by Raphael known as the Madonna Conestabile, now in the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg.
Its name derives from that of its previous owner, noted on the print, the Italian Count Conestabile, who sold it to the State Hermitage Museum in 1871.
