earlier labels about this work
  • This two-part abstract work was part of an exhibition entitled 'tint', a name which refers to the practise of altering colours by adding measures of white. The work explores the illusory potential of subtle transitions between colour, tones, shapes and line. These explorations continue the artist's ongoing interest in memory (both mental and optical) and shadow. On one panel delicate threads create a striped effect- the other is dominated by a flower-like motif. (Label date unknown)
