The Gallery is currently open under Alert Level 2 restrictions. From Friday 3 December, we will be operating under traffic light setting Orange. All visitors will be required to present a vaccine pass on entry, scan in and wear a face mask.

These paintings were made for a set of Gregg's Jelly cards, ‘Rare and Endangered Birds of New Zealand'. 35 cards were collected in an album, encouraging young New Zealanders to appreciate our precious bird life.
How many of these birds' names did you already know? Two of them also live on $1 and $2 coins!
That the latest set of collectable cards in boxes of Weetbix features the All Blacks isn't really surprising, given that the Rugby World Cup is about to kick off on our shores and Weetbix are the official breakfast sponsors of the All Blacks.
