Books books everywhere and not a word to read

Behind the scenes

The Gallery's library currently has the appearance of some sort of intervention.

And to a certain extent it has with the shelves having been wrapped in plastic sheets by Tim, the librarian, to protect books from any damage that may inadvertently occur while the appartment blocks next door are demolished. The library can be both a place of refuge, a retreat of sorts if you needed some quiet time to meet a deadline, but it can also become a very social space where you more often than not catch up with fellow art historians and students researching.
