
Lesson Ten For all levels
The artwork selected for this lesson is a painting by Gottfried Lindauer
that is a detailed moko example. Students will investigate individual
pattern elements, the oral histories associated with the marks and the
location of relevant marks on the face.
The classroom activity will be followed by a Gallery tour with specific
emphasis on the Lindauer painting.
