Christchurch Art Gallery offers unique Audio Tours, which can be enjoyed in several ways:

1. Listen online to the audio through our interactive player, which allows you to view images as you listen to the commentary.

2. Download an Audio Tour to your audio player and visit the Gallery to experience it in person.

3. Hire an iPod Audio Tour at the Gallery. All Audio Tours are included for a hire fee of $5. Please bring your credit card, driver’s licence or passport for security.

Regular and large print transcripts of the Audio Tours are available upon request. New material, including programmes in multiple languages, is added regularly.

Hiring an Audio Tour at the Gallery

Christchurch Art Gallery iPod Audio Tours are easy to use and can be hired from the Information Desk in the foyer.

$5 per iPod hire. Free for Friends of the Gallery on Wednesdays after 5pm. Learn more about becoming a Friend.

Downloading
To download the audio files, right-click on the "Download..." MP3 link (or control-click on a Mac) and select "Save Target As..." (or "Download Linked File" on a Mac) to save the file to your hard drive.
