The new exhibition specifically for children is I See Red.

Through a selection of eclectic , mainly contemporary artworks for the Gallery’s collection, this exhibition explores some of the strong meanings and ideas associated with the colour red.

I See Red is the first of a series of three exhibitions to be installed at the Gallery during the next 18 months that are intended to encourage young audiences to consider the use of colour in art. The other colours to come under  the spotlight will be white and blue.

Again, the exhibition will be interactive and appeal to younger visitors from age three to early teens. I See Red is the third exhibition curated for children, following the success of the Ape to Zip and Art Detectives exhibitions.
