Encountering Giacometti Symposium

Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetu invites you to register now for Encountering Giacometti, a special symposium to accompany the exhibition Giacometti: Sculptures, Prints and Drawings from the Maeght Foundation. The exhibition features some of Giacometti’s most famous works and will be on display until 25 February 2007.

The one-day symposium takes place between 10.00am and 3.30pm on Sunday 10 December 2006 and features lectures by a range of leading experts discussing diverse aspects of Alberto Giacometti’s works and the fascinating period in which he lived and worked.

The symposium fee is $25, and all participants will be eligible for discounted entry of $9 into the Giacometti exhibition upon presentation of their registration confirmation slip.
