New Zealand's renowned sports photographer and photojournalist Peter Bush has captured pictures of every Lions Tour of New Zealand since 1966. His photography of these Tours is celebrated in an exhibition opening at the Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetu on Friday, 10 June.

The exhibition coincides with the beginning of the British and Irish Lions Tour of New Zealand 2005 and focuses on Bush's photographs of previous Tours. The exhibition comprises 30 superb black & white and colour photographs capturing some of rugby's most famous sporting legends, both on the field and behind the scenes.

Legendary in the rugby world, Bush has been photographing matches around the globe for more than 50 years. He is famous for his ability to capture superb action photographs and his uncanny ability to be “on the spot” at the critical moment.

The transportation of works in this exhibition has been generously supported by Fliway.
