Christchurch Art Gallery
26 May 2009

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS: 27 MAY - 9 JUNE

Bold experiments with moving images are the speciality of the artist behind our newest exhibition, Gary Hill: Up Against Down. And from a video art pioneer to a pioneering Christchurch art collector, check out Ron O'Reilly: The Collector's Eye, opening 6 June.

Want to take a fresh look at the Gallery's collections? Several of New Zealand's favourite writers have come up with their own self-guided tours for your enjoyment. Pick up a Freerange tour at the entrance to our upstairs collection galleries.

A big congratulations to our Explore and Draw competition winners, (pictured from left) Giselle, Sam, Esther, Jack and Millie. They took part in our recent school holiday Explore and Draw activity, each winning a pack of art materials. Keep an eye out for the next competition in July.
